# Risk & Variability

Infrastructure cashflow is exposed to real economic conditions and is variable by nature.

Key risks include lower than expected generation or usage, higher operating costs, downtime or technical issues, energy pricing changes, and counterparty performance.

ReFi Hub does not remove these risks. It makes them explicit. Understanding these dynamics is essential to participating responsibly.
